road to recovery

Friends of Choices is dedicated to supporting individuals in recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. At the heart of our organization are our sober living homes in West Los Angeles.

The picture above was taken from the road to June Lake in the southern Sierras, on a recent fishing trip with house residents.

With the homes as our focal point, we also offer services designed to help our residents develop the skills needed to build successful independent lives. Since our founding in 1993, we have provided a safe and supportive home, and a new start in life, to hundreds of recovering alcoholics and addicts.

Chairman's message

Welcome to the Friends of Choices website, a place where our community of alumni, supporters, volunteers and the recovery community in general can keep in touch with us. You'll also find more information about upcoming events in these pages.

I invite you to become involved in the work that we do. Opportunities for volunteers are more fully described here. For those of you who are members of the recovery community, you already know that there is nothing more gratifying than sharing your gift with others.

To our current supporters and volunteers, I'd like to reaffirm my deepest gratitude for everything you've done for Friends of Choices through the years.
